1987 At age 21, Gil Sotelo leaves his career as an Electronics Engineer and becomes a DJ at Reuben's Videodance Nightclub. "My Father eventually forgave me." He quickly rose through the DJ ranks and landed at Power 106FM as "DJ Mixmaster G-Man"
1988- 2015 Gil’s career expands as he DJ's on the radio and at top Nightclubs in Hollywood, LA, Las Vegas, Miami, Cancun and Los Cabos; at Celebrity events including the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, Television "Wrap" Parties, Emmy's parties, Mansion Parties; and at private parties for Anthony Andersen, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rob Schneider, Keifer Sutherland, Michael Chiklis, Bernie Mac, Cedric the Entertainer and Vin Diesel.
1989 Gil founds and publishes LA Clubs Magazine.
2000 A Night To Remember Entertainmentis founded.
2008 The business moves to Huntington Beach and the name is changed to A Night to Remember Events.
2009 Gil serves as Ambassador to the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce.
2010 Business booms in Orange County, and A Night To Remember Events adds substantial events to their roster including the Huntington Beach 4th of July, Comic Con, Taste of Huntington Beach, Newport Beach Economic Conference, Newport Chamber Boat Parade Awards, Catersource Convention in Las Vegas, The Special Event Convention in Long Beach; national tours from LA to New York with HTC, Sprint and T-Mobile; and International events in Los Cabos and Cancun.
2013 Gil serves as an Ambassador for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
2014-2018 Gil serves as an Ambassador for the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce.
2020 A Night To Remember Events is rebranded and renamed 1 AUDIO VISUAL. The business is moved to its present location in Orange County, CA.
